Big news for you this Thursday – I’ve entered the Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap! If you have a food blog, you can (and SHOULD!) enter too! The deadline to sign up is November 5th, and the only requirements are:
- You must have a food blog that is at least two months old (check!)
- You must have posted at least once in the last six months (check!)
- Your primary subject matter (at least 51%) must be food!
- It must be an actual real live blog, not just a facebook page
It costs $4.00 to enter, but it’s for a good cause. 100% of our donations go directly to Cookies for Kids Cancer, a nonprofit organization focused on raising funds to support research for new and improved therapies for pediatric cancer.
Oh, and did I mention that OXO is matching all of our donations (up to $100,000.00).
Pretty sweet deal, huh? (pun intended).
After you sign up for the Great Food Blogger Cookie Swap, you will be “matched” with three lucky bloggers who will receive your cookies. Cookies must be shipped by December 5th, and the recipe(s) posted on December 12th.
Yeah, this is a COOKIE SWAP people! Which means that you will send, and more importantly RECEIVE cookies! 3 boxes, to be exact! Because if helping to cure pediatric cancer isn’t a big enough motivator, HOW ABOUT FREE COOKIES!?
Don’t worry if you don’t have a food blog, you can still donate at the FBCS website or the CFKC website.
